Your privacy comes first

The information you enter is processed entirely in your browser to calculate your score. We don't send it to our servers and we don't store it.

We don't create accounts. You can use Worth It? without signing up, logging in, or giving us your name or email address.

Sharing a result

You can share your score only, which includes the car, its year and its score but none of your financial answers. If you share the full result, the link contains the information needed to recreate it, and anyone with the link can view those details, so only share it with people you trust. Shared links include the car's name and score so chat apps can show a preview.

"Save image" draws a picture of your score in your browser. It is never uploaded to us. It shows the car and score, and includes your monthly cost only if you tick that box.

Comparing cars

When you tap "Add to compare", that car's answers are saved in your own browser's storage so the compare page can show them side by side. They stay on your device and are never sent to us. Remove a car or clear the comparison on the compare page, or clear your browser's site data, to delete them.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies and doesn't track you across other websites.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technology to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services, and you can turn off personalized ads in My Ad Center.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads are shown.

If you live in a US state with its own privacy law, such as California, you can opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for advertising using the "Do not sell or share my personal information" link that appears on the site.

Hosting

We use Cloudflare to deliver the site securely and protect it from abuse. Like most websites, basic technical information such as IP addresses may be processed as part of providing these services.

Children

This site is meant for adults making car-buying decisions and isn't directed at children under 13.
